1. Rinse the jasmine rice 2-3 times with clean water until the water is clear.
2. Pour the washed rice into the rice cooker, add 1 cups of water, plug in the rice cooker, and press the cook button. Wait for the button to flick, indicating the rice is ready (approximately 15-20 minutes).
3. Once the button flicks, let the rice rest for an additional 5-10 minutes. Then, open the lid and use a spatula to gently stir the rice to release the steam.
Unpolished Bao Yod Muang Rice
1. Rinse the jasmine rice 2-3 times with clean water until the water is clear.
2. Pour the washed rice into the rice cooker, add 1 ½ cups of water, plug in the rice cooker, and press the cook button. Wait for the button to flick, indicating the rice is ready (approximately 15-20 minutes).
3. Once the button flicks, let the rice rest for an additional 5-10 minutes. Then, open the lid and use a spatula to gently stir the rice to release the steam.
The food characteristics: The rice has a mild fragrance, is sticky and soft, resembling sticky rice with a smooth texture that is not coarse.
